Gorale is comprised of 48 pages of text and risograph interpretations of analogue medium format photographs taken within the Tatra mountain range in southern Poland, the region my family emigrated from in the early 1900s. Within the collection of words and images, a loose narrative forms around ideas of locational and cultural memory and the difficulty in accurately relaying experiences in foreign spaces.
48 pages, risograph and laser printed, hand bound with letter pressed slip cover. Risograph printing by Colpa Press. 5 x 5″. Edition of 50. 2016.
